The Corima Puma you see here is an iconic monocoque bicycle made in France. It first appeared in 1991, and played a key role in revolutionizing the bike industry. The Puma proved its versatility by appealing to road cyclists and triathletes, Laurent Fignon and Chris Boardman among them (the latter setting a new world hour record of 52.270 km on a Corima with full carbon four spoke wheels). Every aspect of the Puma is a triumph of engineering design, down to the profiled Ellipse seatpost.
This is the lone carbon fiber bicycle I found in the collection of my late friend, Real Le Bel of Quebec.
