Here is another variation on the truss frame bicycle first popularized by Iver Johnson, Great Western Mfg. and others around the turn of the previous century. The truss frame design really caught on in France; I have seen several variations on this model on French internet sites. I received this bike as a bare frame from my friend James Allen, and have yet to identify the maker; but the shadow left on the head tube suggests it may be a Columbia.
