​Ned Overend was the headliner for the Schwinn race team in the mid 1980s. In 1986 Overend won his first NORBA (National Off Road Bicycle Association) championship in Durango, Colorado riding a red Schwinn Paramountain. The Paramountain became available to the public in 1987 as a frame only. My Cobalt Black Paramountain Ned Overend Signature Edition is the largest frame Schwinn made.
