Arnold, Schwinn anticipated the second American "adult" bicycle boom by a couple of decades by introducing the lugged Schwinn Paramount and fillet-brazed Superior in the 1930s. This Sports-Tourist features the three-speed Sturmey-Archer hub, adjustable stem and locking front fork. I have always thought the fork crown and sabre-like front fender of this model to be quite elegant. As soon as I locate an appropriate hockey-stick chain guard the bike will be complete.
