This is one of the Model 90s made famous by the first African American international superstar, Major Taylor. (The Major rode both diamond and truss frame bicycles). Features include chromed headtube and fork, single gold box lining, snowflake chainring, Torrington pedals, adjustable stem (Taylor adopted the four-sided outrigger late in his career), Mesinger Supreme Racer saddle and metal-clad wood racing rims. A very original and complete bicycle.
