As difficult as it is to cut the emotional ties to a vintage bicycle one has owned for a long while, there comes a day when one must let go (if for no other reason than to make room for a new discovery). On Sept. 1, 2023, at the Davenport Motorcycle Swap Meet, I sold my Roadmaster Rat Rod (a bike I had built to ride with the grandkids) to a colorful fellow named Jason.
