The Robin Hood was a second-tier offering by Raleigh in the 1950s and 60s. Most that appear for sale are black 21 inch diamond frame three-speed bikes with cables. This double top tube rod-brake Robin Hood is a bit more rare. I found it thirty years ago in a college town in Virginia, missing the original fenders. I decided to build a camping bicycle, in the style of the old French Porteurs. I've added a porteur rack, Honjo fenders, French-style chainguard, large comfy Carradice bags, and to top it off, a vintage Coca-Cola box up front. (The hatchet on the back was a gift from my mother when I was a Boy Scout. What comes first is what lasts).
