I purchased this Raleigh Prestige from my friend Tom, who lived in the Netherlands from 1989 to 1991, and rode it daily to and from work. Tom remembers: "The Raleigh Prestige is a 1991 model. At the time Raleigh of England and Gazelle were sister companies. I recall the Raleigh main frame was brazed in England and completely finished out by Gazelle in the Netherlands." The Nitto Pearl stem is an upgrade. The original plastic splash guards had cracked into pieces, so I had these replaced in leather (with a tool bag to match). Further personal improvements include my favorite MKS Lambda pedals, bell, and Brooks B66 saddle. Equipped with a Sturmey-Archer five-speed hub.
